AmStar Employees Honored

The Demopolis City Council recently honored the first responders and EMS workers who performed life-saving measures on Mr. Harris Hurst, a member of the Demopolis City Schools board. Four of AmStar EMS’s employees were honored for their heroic actions in saving Mr. Hurst’s life. Those employees, pictured above, are (L to R) Amy Hall, Jamecia Hasberry, Denny Baynham, and (not pictured) Kevin Horne.

Congratulations to Amy, Jamecia, Denny, and Kevin, and keep up all your fantastic work!

AmStar EMS 10th Anniversary Party

On Thursday, May 23, 2019, AmStar EMS celebrated its 10th anniversary with an unveiling of the new company logo and the mockup for the new ambulance design. AmStar employees and guests from the Demopolis Fire Department enjoyed pulled pork and chicken from Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ in Demopolis, along with cake from local bakery Simply Delicious. AmStar EMS is Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary!

AmStar EMS is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week! We can’t believe it’s been ten years since AmStar opened its doors!

And we are having a blast celebrating not only our anniversary but also EMS Week! And what better way to celebrate ten years in business than to unveil a brand new company logo! We hope you like it. We, personally, think it looks sharp!

We have a new coffee and snack bar!

In celebration of EMS Week 2019, AmStar’s office manager Leah Johnson and human resources director Jessica Meigs have set up a coffee and snack station for the crews to enjoy between ambulance calls. A big THANK YOU to them, and a happy EMS Week to all the ambulance workers out there!
